An action, comedy, ecchi,  martial arts genre will have its 4th series anime, Yuji Shiozaki’s manga Ikkitousen is now on the works which was announced in the Wani Books’ Monthly Comic Gum magazine.

It will be entitled as 『Ikkitousen XX: XTREME XECUTOR』, and a new character named as Ma Chao will be appearing and will voiced by Endo Aya.

『Quiz Magical Academy / クイズマジックアカデミー OVA 2』  ~Futatsu no Jikou-Seki~ has been announced.

The Second OVA of the game will be included in the limited-edition special of the game Quiz Magical Academy  ~Futatsu no Jikou-Seki~ by Konami on the Nintendo DS.

The most promising game of the year comes the announcement of the release of the game “Final Fantasy XIII.

The North American release of the game which will be on March 9, 2010 together for the Playstation 3 and Xbox360.

Expecting many gamers will look to this game, and of course SE Corporation is expecting greater sales for the incoming releases on the said countries.

I’m expecting good details and trenchers storyline that is enough to cry about.

Plot:

The story focuses on the fal’Cie, a race existing beyond humanity. The people marked by the fal’Cie for a greater purpose are named the l’Cie. Some 13 centuries ago, a mythical Crystal told the fal’Cie to construct a paradise for humanity. The shell-like city of Cocoon was created and floated high above the surface of the world now known as Pulse, which is later maintained by its own Crystal. Cocoon’s Crystal created life forms and machines for its inhabitants to use, and humanity flourished.

Over time, the people of Cocoon began to fear for the safety of their world, and were worried that it would be cast down from the sky. Ditama Bow’s 『Kiss x Sis』 an ecchi romance manga has been adapted to get an anime series.

The season will be premiering this spring, the manga has been already adapted with a 3 episode of OVA which was animated by FEEL.

It has been serialized in Kodansha Weekly Young Mag since 2004 and has been called of to move to the Monthly Young Mag which will be on December 9.

Plot:

Keita has two older step-sisters, Ako and Riko, but since they aren’t related by blood, they love him in a lustful way. After a mishap at school, Ako and Riko finally confess their love to him. Keita dislikes the thought of seeing them other then brother and sister, but as he tries to enter the same school as his sisters, he slowly becomes attracted to them.

Obsessed? Past time? Just killing time? Or it is just addictive? Survey shows.

Based on 2009 Today’s Gamers International Survey it reveals that the fact US citizens are more playing video games as their past time.

83% of the US citizens proclaimed that playing console games is the most primary activity or a past time, than TV Entertainment and surfing in the internet.

80% of female Americans also proclaimed that they are admittedly in playing games, and 87% for the males.

Female gamers prefer over to the PC with a percentage of 54% overall, female game portal players over 20 years old, 46% work full-time, part-time, or are self-employed, and 59% are married, while 44% for the males, it’s not even clarified if is MMORPG or just Facebook flash games.

Children with an age of 8-12 years old has an average playing time of 13 hours with only 10.2 hours watching television and an average of 9.1 hours using the Internet.

Europeans with a rating of 72% admittedly playing games, which is less than these americans.

A percentage shared by American respondents ages 50 and above.

Now, I’m amused that there are more girls playing than boys, girls pwning us.

Kazuya Minekura’s Saiyuki Series “Saiyuki Gaiden” manga has been anime OVA adapted.

It was revealed and announced at the Saiyuki Fiesta ‘09.

Saiyuki Gaiden is a manga prequel which had a few chapters adapted into the original anime.

Plot:
500 years before the story of Saiyuki, a heretic child with golden eyes is brought into Heaven. He is given into the reluctant care of a minor deity named Konzen, the nephew of the Merciful Goddess Kanzeon Bosatsu. Konzen eventually gives the child the name “Goku”. Goku becomes friends with two other minor gods, Marshal Tenpou and General Kenren of the Western Army of Heaven. He also meets a strange little boy who seems to be his own age, the War Prince Nataku. Although Goku is happy in his new home, Heaven is not kind to heretics. There are those who would use Nataku and Goku as tools in an attempt to seize the throne of Heaven, and Konzen, Tenpou, and Kenren may not be able to save them.

At the 10th Anniversary Live Event which was held on November 11,  Circus has announced a load of new releases related on the D.C. ~Da Capo~ series.

Circus confirmed that they will be getting a third visual novel, another VN entitled “D.C. Zero“, a new manga series and a brand new anime series (D.C. ~Da Capo~ III).

No further details yet on the making.
