Staffs for New Full Metal Alchemist Anime

Kadokawa Shoten’s February Issue announced the interview regarding staffs of this new FMA series. BONES animation for April debut.

Hiromu Arakawa’s manga adaptation “Full metal Alchemist” will premier in April.
Yasuhiro Irie will be directing this new series, and BONES as the animation studio which will be the first work on their new company “D Studio”.

Aniplex producer Ryo Oyama quoted

The production began on the series around last spring, and Irie added that the script for the 18th episode had been written as of December.

    We’ve been talking about this for a while now. At last, looks like FMA season two is almost here. Pretty exciting.

    where can the series possibly go when they’re already on earth, the dad’s dead, and he’s no longer in a suit?

    This is not season 2 to the FMA anime series, that one ended with the movie Conquerer of Shamballa. This is a new Fullmetal Alchemist series that is based off the manga (which is a lot different than the anime in many ways, even though they begin the same way). I’m really excited to see Ed and Al back on TV. I miss those guys 😄

    The manga and the anime split entirely at the Greed arc, because that’s when it says where homunculi are from, and the anime and manga explanations are different. I’m wondering if they’ll restart the new series and rehash a lot of the stuff the old anime had that it shared with the manga
