Nodame Cantabile’s manga-ka Tomoko Ninomiya had to holds her work on the popular music romance genre manga because of her Carpal Tunnel Syndrome which tendency to stop making the manga temporarily to due to this Syndrome.
When she woked up that morning, she saw her hand was swelling and in she’s terribly in pain. It was a terrible morning for her as she said here in her blog.

Ahh, as much as I want the story to continue, I’d rather her hand/wrist feel better. I figured she was still away doing baby-related stuff. I hope she doesn’t have to get surgery like Natsuki Takaya, because she’d probably end up with the same unwanted change of art.
Man seems like a lot of manga-ka I like are getting ill or receiving hand injuries lately! Hope it gets better!
